OPENING OF COVA MONTE-CARLO
25 December 2016

The famous Italian brand Cova, owned by the LVMH group, announces the opening in Monaco of the first Café Cova in Europe, outside Italy, scheduled for Spring 2017.
On the occasion of its 200th anniversary, after having exported to Asia in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Shanghai and more recently in Beijing and Taipei, the renowned pastry brand strengthens its international presence by installing a Café Cova at the heart of the Principality, in collaboration with entrepreneur Flavio Briatore, at 19, Boulevard des Moulins.
It is the Venetian architect Paolo Lucchetta assisted by the architectural firm Retail Design who will be in charge of designing this place, by respecting the codes and the atmosphere which made the success and the inimitable style of Cova 1817 while inserting him into the Monaco urban space.
Founded
in Milano in 1817 on the outskirts of La Scala, Pasticceria Cova
became an after show for tastings of cake stores and coffees in the
sound of violins. In 1950, following the bombing of the Second World
War, the sign settles down in the golden square of the fashion, via
Montenapoleone.
The 1990s marked the beginning of
international growth, notably with the opening of a franchise in Hong
Kong in 1994.
Cova Monte-Carlo will be part of this history by
offering products of the highest quality, linked to the know-how of
the brand with a wide range of products ranging from the daily
artisanal to the traditional Milanese culinary specialties, including
the very famous ' Panettone ', symbol of Milan and the oldest
traditions of COVA.
