20TH rallye Monte-Carlo historique


The "Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique" is ready to go and fans of sports and prestige cars are invited to relive the legend of this iconic motorsport race.

Participation in the "Rallye Monte-Carlo" of Johnny Hallyday and Henri Chemin on Ford Mustang in 1967 will be officially celebrated this year on the occasion of the 20th edition of the race.

After the victory of Daniel Perfetti and Ronnie Kessel in 2016 on Alpine-Renault A110, there will be many contenders for the victory of this anniversary edition at the wheel of cars that participated in the "Rallye Monte-Carlo" between 1955 and 1980.

The stages of concentration begin this Wednesday, January 25 from Stockholm, Glasgow and Lisbon. Following on Thursday 26 January the one in Copenhagen and on Friday 27 January, those in Bad Homburg, Barcelona and Reims.

At the end of their journey of concentration, the competitors will meet on Saturday 28 January in Digne-les-Bains before spending the night in the principality at the end of a course in the heart of the Verdon gorges and lakes.

The Ranking Stage will start on Sunday 29 January and will lead the drivers to the Common Stage in two parts and finally to the Final Stage, scheduled for the night of 31 January to 1 February with the famous ascent of the "Col de Turini".

The prize-giving ceremony will take place on Wednesday, February 1, in "la Salle des Étoiles" of the Monte-Carlo Sporting on the occasion of the Monte Carlo Rally Gala Evening.
